Me and the music

I studied piano and music when i was very young but i didn't liked it until i started listening Pink Floyd then i buyed and played my first keyboard. My favourite song was On The Turning Away. In that period i have an Amiga 500 computer and i was starting composing some song by myself with Deluxe Music Studio but the results is not so much great because i did not studied music so much and because the sounds comeing from the computer speaker was not very good to listen at.

When i was 18 years old i liked to much Hard Rock (Deep Purple, AC/DC) and Heavy Metal (QueensRyche, MetallicA) that i wanna play more... so i purchased my first electric bass.

One year later, i liked to much music, i purchase my Yamaha SY-22 keyboards that finally can be plugged to my Amiga thru' the MIDI port... my songs now starts to play very well thru' the synth wave table

The 6 gennuary of 1992 it was my first gig. I was at the keyboards. We played: In the flesh, Con le mani, Another brick in the wall, Smoke on the water.

A friend of mine that is a Disk Jokey proposed me to play some 'disco music' with the keyboard at some party. They liked very much the 'techno music'... so i tried to arrange the sounds of some MetallicA songs like they was a completly different kind of music... the results was incredible: pleople like it and also people like to dance with it!!! Really amazing was to use live my Amiga with the SY-22 keyboard. I booked two date: the 01-01-1993 and 22-02-1993

I was at Pisa studying at the university. I purchased an acoustic guitar. During the time spent in Pisa i passed a lot of time studying classic music and studing book upon the armony.

The 20 february 1994 i and other friends founded the 'Nucleo' band... but this is explained into the other page. I left the group at the end of 1994 because i have to stay 1 mandatory year into the army, in Italy this is by law and cannot be avoided. I never return to play togheter with the Nucleo for a lot of reasons.

The 8 august 1994 i played in Cellole, my hometown, for the first time alone with the keyboards... this was the last time i used my Amiga because after that night she never worked anymore... maybe because of the high umidity we have into the summer. I am unable to remember the song played because i have them upon an Amiga floppy disk and i am looking for someone who has it in order to restore that songs.

In 1995 i purchase a new keyboard the Roland XP-50 a lovely things. In the same time i was using a normal PC (486) togheter with Cakewalk to compose my songs. The very good song quality from the XP50 and the Cakewalk ability to punt inside the score some waves files opened me a new way of thinking about music.

The real interesting things is that in 1996 i purchased a 6 string bass from Eko and i started to study with a very professional bassman in order to play the bass very well. My master open me a new way of thinking to the music where reaching for the best sound quality is always better than searching for the more difficult score to play. I will never forget all the precious tips he gives to me in only 4 lessons... i'll never forget. Thank you PAT!

In 24-02-1996 i played with my cousin Giovanni (guitar) and Gennaro (drums) as special guest at 'Luna Rossa' (Mondragone, CE). It was a really great experience, Giovanni has a real good tast at music and is able to create very good songs that i like to arrange and give them a structure.

I was asked for being part of the Jury for the music contest in Scauri (LT) happened in 1996 and 1997. Into 1996, if i remember well, i played my songs with the SY22 and the PC... and into the jury there were my old friend from the Nucleo! ;-) In 1997 i also played at this event, always as special guest, but only with the XP-50

I pass my time composing songs with Cakewalk and the two keyboards of mine. Studying with the 6-string bass. I make some practicians under some garage with many differents band, everybody wanna play with me but i do not know why ;-). We played a very wonderfull concert in Cellole toghether Gianluca (Drums) and my cousins Mario (16een guitarman). We finish ranked at thirth place but we only played instrumental songs. COOL. I'll never forget the sensation of all the eyes of the peoples starting at me while performing Esperance
