Software

This is some GPLed software that i wrote specifically for GNU/Linux. I have tons of old win32 code developed before i first met GNU/Linux in 1996 but i have no time now to put it online. My software repository can be accessed at http://www.badpenguin.org/pub/. You can also have CVS access to it using cvs.linux.it

• libbadpenguin
  library and shell scripts for console tools development
  
  
• libgringo
  shell and library to replace cdialog. It allow you to write apps that run both in console and under X-Window
  
  
• libhardware
  library and binaries for hardware probing and kernel module detecting.
  
  
• B.P. package manager
  the Bad Penguin package installer and tools to create them.
  
  
• B.P. caronte
  the source of the first part of the installation process.
  
  
• PHP Stuff
  dblib allow you to write code indipendet from the database; dbsession allow you to have PHP session using a database when them are not installed by your webserver provider. Both the library works perfectly also on PHP3.
  
  
• Little Italy Linux
  my first attempt to a GNU/Linux distribution, a set of 4 msdos floppy to install a stand-alone Linux 2.0.3x system
